DUBLIN — Ryanair confirmed that while parents will not be charged to sit beside children, a new €45 Non-Charity Processing Fee applies to process the exemption.

Waivers require manual verification by staff otherwise selling duty-free scratch cards.

"We lose money on every flight we don't monetize," said Chief Revenue Officer Declan Murphy.

"If we give something away, we charge for the paperwork proving we gave it away."
