WASHINGTON — At a National Mall prayer rally, House Speaker Mike Johnson denounced 'Christian nationalism' as a 'derogatory slur' before introducing legislation to make the Bible the supreme law of the United States. 'This isn't a theocracy,' Johnson said. 'It's just a country where every law flows from the Book of Deuteronomy.' The bill has 47 co-sponsors and would require federal judges to issue rulings in biblical verse.
