PHOENIX — County supervisors confirmed Wednesday they are adjusting precinct staffing to accommodate federal detainments during peak voting hours. Speeds were recalibrated to account for agents securing ballots from arrested citizens.

"It's a minor disruption for democracy," said Regional Director Gary Milson. "If DHS needs to remove a voter, the line just pauses. We budgeted forty seconds per handcuffing."
