NEW DELHI — The Home Ministry will now manage Gen Z demonstrations under the Pest Control Act. Fumigation teams replace riot police, citing protesters' self-identification as 'Cockroach Janta' as binding legal classification.

'It is more cost-effective to exterminate dissent than to address it,' said Home Secretary Rajiv Mehta. 'If they scuttle, we treat them as infestations.'
