WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth halted Tuesday's D-Day ceremony to demand retroactive visas for all Allied forces landing in 1944.

Hegseth handed I-9 forms to surviving veterans while Pentagon officials confirmed the Normandy beaches are now classified as unscreened entry points.

"We cannot honor history without enforcing current statutes," said Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
