WASHINGTON — The Justice Department sued the D.C. Bar on Monday, arguing disbarring lawyers for election subversion would set a 'catastrophic precedent for attorney productivity.'

'If we start penalizing creative constitutional reasoning, we'll face a debilitating shortage of lawyers willing to draft coup-adjacent memos,' said spokesperson Kevin Weir.
