WASHINGTON — Sen. Thom Tillis confirmed Tuesday that passing the SAVE America Act would violate the Senate's profitability metrics regarding gridlock. Tillis noted that while North Carolina processes voter IDs, federal inaction generates higher donor returns.

"Passing this bill cancels our failure bonuses," said Senate Majority Scheduler Alan Kress. "Inaction is the only fiscal solvent we have."
