WASHINGTON — The Senate Homeland Security Committee voted Wednesday to hold the U.S. Constitution in contempt for enabling Dr. Fauci's silence.

Sen. Rand Paul argued the document is obstructing justice by allowing witnesses to plead the Fifth. "This amendment is blocking our oversight," said Committee Counsel Alan Trumbull. "We are prepared to sanction the Bill of Rights until it complies."
