WASHINGTON — The Defense Department stated Monday that service members killed by combatants lacking proper business licensure will be reclassified as acts of God. Families must submit a W-9 form for the deceased to proceed.

"We cannot validate deaths caused by unregulated entities," said Defense Claims Processing spokesperson Linda Harb. "If the enemy doesn't file taxes, the sacrifice doesn't count."
