MONTGOMERY — State GOP leaders dismissed their entire counsel Tuesday after attorneys advised that Supreme Court rulings constitute mandatory requirements rather than negotiable suggestions.

Committee Chair Stan McClain stated the legal opinions were impeding the creative process of disenfranchisement. The state will now proceed with map drafting based solely on instinct and partisan desire.
