WASHINGTON — The House Republican Conference announced Tuesday that passage of the SAVE America Act is contingent on every member proving their own citizenship to the colleague standing to their left. Speaker Mike Johnson admitted the chamber has been deadlocked for hours as members refuse to accept each other's birth certificates. Three members have already been escorted out for lacking sufficient paperwork.
