REDMOND — Microsoft confirmed Wednesday that its new Azure cluster will operate under a "carbon immunity clause," guaranteeing the AI remains insulated from atmospheric consequences through 2045.

"Breathability is a legacy feature we are sunsetting," said VP of Infrastructure Glen Haverty. "We prepaid for the sky's capacity. If the planet chokes, that's outside the service level agreement."
